Project Description

Raphael Katz

Interaction & Service Designer, InWithForward

With a special interest in psychology, behavioural economics, and innovation, Raphael believes in the power of design to facilitate positive change. He strives to create products and services that positively enhance our experience of life. Particularly interested in connectivity, Raphael co-founded Budgie in 2015 – a social travel app that unites travellers from around the world. The app was granted entry into Vancouver’s YMCA-backed incubator, Youth Means Business. After years of working on the business, Raphael decided to dive into the design of digital products head-on at the MA program at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. He then went on to work with CIID’s consultancy to explore the future of farming. Currently, at InWithForward, he’s working on mighty challenges; such as inclusion, connection, and purpose.
